Delta Marine & Environmental Services (DMES) is a fully licensed and insured Louisiana corporation providing maritime cleaning services for vessels, shore-side and at anchorage, in the lower Mississippi River, the Gulf of Mexico and the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region. DMES utilize various chemical and sound mechanical methods to ensure fast and economical marine cleaning services with in-house access to a vast array of technical specialists, such as Certified Industrial Chemists and other professionals.
Guy Sergi

Mr. Guy Sergi grew up on the Mississippi river, boarding ships with his father, a steamship agent. In 1989 he followed his father's footsteps into the agency business where he worked for K & C Shipping as well as Riomar Jomaris agencies before moving into the cargo hold cleaning business in 1996 with Rubark International. In 1997 Mr. Sergi founded Tri-Star Marine, eventually selling it to Cargo Clean of Louisiana. He then joined United States Maritime Services where he managed the division's day to day operations until joining Delta Marine and Environmental Services.
Chris Meredith

Mr. Chris Meredith is a lifelong resident of Louisiana and graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He possesses 18 years of maritime and hold cleaning experience. Mr. Meredith started as a hold cleaning foreman with Rubark International in 1997 before moving into management. In 2001 he founded Cargo Clean of Louisiana which successfully cleaned ships until its eventual sale to United States Maritime Services in 2004. Mr. Meredith has been named the new General Manager of Delta Marine & Environmental Services.
Brent Jarreau

Mr. Brent Jarreau is a hands-on professional with over 10 years of experience in the areas of industrial hygiene, environmental compliance, safety compliance and project management for emergency response remediation and demolition. Areas of experience include supervision of work plans for commercial construction remediation and demolition projects, asbestos survey assessments, site safety compliance consulting, petrochemical and chemical safety consulting, company-specific safety compliance program writing and development, asbestos and lead abatement supervision, risk management, and regulatory compliance management. Skilled in the approach to inspecting, evaluating, and managing programs and processes to ensure compliance with state and federal environmental and safety regulations. Bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in the concentration of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment. Held office as the First Vice President of the AIHA student chapter of Southeastern Louisiana University. Mr. Jarreau’s project management experience includes preparation of project proposals, technical correspondence, reviewing RFPs, writing project-specific work plans, and site supervision.
Farley Dennis

Mr. Farley Dennis has over 25 years of experience in the maritime industry. Mr. Dennis began his maritime career with United States Maritime Services where he built an extensive Environmental and Marine resume. He joins Delta from Shiptech Services and oversees all “gas free”, tank and barge cleaning operations in addition to assisting with cargo hold cleaning as needed.
