Delta Marine & Environmental Services is a fully licensed and insured Louisiana Corporation providing Maritime Cleaning Services for Vessels; Shore-Side and at Anchorage, in the Lower Mississippi River, the Gulf of Mexico and the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region. DMES utilize various chemical and sound mechanical methods to ensure fast and economical marine cleaning services with in-house access to a vast array of technical specialists, such as Certified Industrial Chemists and other Professionals.

Guy Sergi Delta Marine

Mr. Guy Sergi grew up on the Mississippi river, boarding ships with his father, a Steamship agent. In 1989 he followed his fathers footsteps into the agency business where worked for K & C Shipping as well as Riomar Jomaris agencies before moving into the cargo hold cleaning business in 1996 with Rubark International. In 1997 Mr. Sergi founded Tri-Star Marine eventually selling it to Cargo Clean of Louisiana. He then joined United States Maritime Services where he managed the divisions day to day operations until joining Delta Marine and Environmental Services.

Mr. Chris Meredith is a lifelong resident of Louisiana and graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He possesses 18 years of maritime and hold cleaning experience. Mr. Meredith started as a hold cleaning foreman with Rubark International in 1997 before moving into management. In 2001 he founded Cargo Clean of Louisiana which successfully cleaned ships until its eventual sale to United States Maritime Services group in 2004. Mr. Meredith has been named the new General Manager of Delta Marine & Environmental Services.

Mr. Bret Crouchet has over 15 years experience in the vessel hold preparation industry. His marine influence started at an early age as he had several immediate family members working in the local maritime industry on the Mississippi River. Bret has held various positions from cleaning labor to foreman with extensive hands on experience in ship, barge and tank cleaning in the US Gulf. As project manager at US Maritime Services, Bret had direct supervisory roles involving the complex BP Deep Water Horizon Oil Spill Clean-up project where he excelled in leadership and environmental safety compliance issues. He was named the Manager for St. Bernard Parishes “ Vessels of Opportunity Program “. Bret is a life long resident of South Louisiana and a married father of three.


Warren Guillot Delta Marine

Mr. Warren Guillot brings with him over 40 years of maritime management experience. His expertise in ship hold preparation and inspections spans back to his time as a USDA federal grain inspection service supervisor on the Mississippi river. Mr. Guillot as general manager of several maritime cleaning and environmental companies such as Oil Mop, Thompson Environmental, Rubark International and United States Maritime Services was the guiding force in their success. His local reputation in the U S Gulf is well known amongst the many regulatory bodies, ship agencies and labor organizations as a hands on, motivated team leader. He is a lifelong resident of the New Orleans area where he currently resides on the North shore with his wife, Nina.

Mr. Scott Satter has been in the Maritime Business for over 25 years.  His career began working for Mitsui OSK Lines.  Scott further expanded his knowledge working for Shippers, Dun Avant Enterprises, Inc.,& Turbana Corp., with a 5 year Agency tenure with Page & Jones, Inc. in between.  Scott joins the Delta Marine & Environmental Services Team after spending the last 8 years at Norton Lilly Cargo Services where he assisting in integrating Port Captaincy and Hold Cleaning into  daily operations while acting as Logistics/Sales & Marketing Manager.  Scott will lead the new Tampa office for DMES.


Joe Sanchez Delta Marine

Mr. Joseph Sanchez possesses over 35 years of Maritime experience. A veteran of various agency operations and key account management positions in shipping agencies such as Biehl & Co., Kurz-Moran Shipping, Clipper Shipping, Inchcape Shipping Service, Barwil Agencies, Wilhelmsen Ship service and Nord-Sud Shipping. He has also held the position of Port Manager, Marketing and Sales Manager. A native of New Orleans , he previously resided 20 years in the New York Metropolitan area. A former member of the board of directors for the Propeller Club of the United States (New York Chapter) he’s been recently named Secretary/Treasurer of the Traffic and Transportation Club of Greater New Orleans. Mr. Sanchez will act as Delta Marine and Environmental Services business development manager.

Mr. Patrick J. Berrigan, Jr. possesses over 15 years of marine transportation industry experience. His credentials include OTR hazardous chemicals and materials handling transportation for the marine industry. Ten years ago, he founded North shore Chemical LLC which he currently still owns and operates. North shore Chemical specializes in providing high quality specialty cleaning products tailored to the Maritime and Environmental service Industries operating in the US Gulf. Mr. Patrick will lead the newly formed Delta Marine & Environmental Services, LLC. Chemicals department. He is a life long resident of St Tammany parish in Southern Louisiana and is a married father of 4 children.
